Babbling constantly

Emma turns 3 months old on thursday and I've been lazy and haven't posted anything in a while. Don't let that fool you that she has been quiet. She is really starting to discover her voice and babbling all the time. She has settled down a little from her unhappy colicky stage, but is still extremely active. I'll try to put up another video soon. She has been exercising her neck with some tummy time and can hold her self up while sitting up. And she will still let you know if she is not getting something she wants!!

Emma turns ten weeks old tomorrow and she is growing like a weed still. She enjoyed the fireworks on the fourth of July by oohing and awing and chuckling as they popped in the sky. She spent all day Saturday with her Aunt Jenn and her grandma and grandpa visited for the fourth. So she had a good holiday being spoiled. Of course, mom had to put a bow on her head to snap a picture of her in her holiday outfit.
She also got her two months shots last tuesday and that wasn't any fun, so a good weekend of spoiling was just the thing she needed!

Emma @ 8 weeks

Well, we hit eight weeks old today. Emma is starting to discover things...mainly figuring out how to get what she wants out of mom and dad. Here is a compilation of a little footage we shot last night.

Emma 7 weeks

Well, she's a whole 7 weeks old and growing like a weed. We hope she has passed the height of her colicky status. She is still very active and fights her sleep reguraley, but is holder her head and upper body up steadily. She tries to stand up if you giver her the chance. Other than that, just chubby and happy...as long as you are giving her what she wants!

Emma 5 1/2 weeks old!

Emma turns 6 weeks old this Thursday. She is now holding her head up with more ease and is able to keep it real steady. She hates to sleep and fights it at all costs. She will stay awake all day and still wakes up frequently at night. I guess she feels she might miss something with her eyes closed! So, since she is awake all of the time, we will put things on her and take pics like this one.

She doesn't mind her baths that much, but her favorite part is when it is over and she can be snuggled in a warm towel!
